Responsibilities
You’ll focus on designing and implementing agricultural systems that can thrive under climate stressors such as heat, drought, and poor soil conditions. Your work includes training farmers in adaptation strategies, collecting climate-impact data, and helping reduce emissions through efficient, controlled-environment farming. You’ll be instrumental in protecting food systems against the effects of climate change.
Requirements
Experience with climate-smart agriculture or agroecology
Data literacy in environmental metrics (GHG, water, etc.)
Knowledge of climate risk models and adaptation techniques
Collaborative spirit for working with research and NGO partners
